Malinska → Vrbnik
žlahtina wine, cliffs
A small town on a cliff above the sea, the narrowest street in the world and local žlahtina wine.
Vrbnik stands on a cliff fifty metres above the sea, with the narrowest street in the world and žlahtina vineyards in the field behind the town. Below the town there is a small harbour and a beach, and along the coast to the south a string of cliffs and coves for swimming. It is loveliest late in the afternoon, when the sun lights up the stone houses.
