deer, anchorage
The island of deer between Krk and Rab; drop anchor in a sheltered cove and swim.
Sveti Grgur is a wooded islet between Krk and Rab, known for the deer and mouflon that wander freely down to the beach. You anchor in the sheltered bay of Sv. Grgur on the north side, where a konoba opens in summer. It is at its best in June and September, when there are no crowds and the sea is warm.
