Malinska → Goli otok
history, cove
A former prison on a bare rock: a walk through the ruins and a swim in Tetina cove.
Goli otok, between Rab and Prvić, was a political prison for decades; today you walk freely among the abandoned buildings and workshops. The contrast is stark: bare rock and ruins, and around them turquoise water and Tetina cove, where you swim right by the pier. It is a long route — an hour from Malinska around the south of Krk — so we combine it with Sv. Grgur or Lopar for a southern day.
