Malinska → Stara Baška
coves from the sea
A string of coves south of the village reachable only by sea or on foot: Oprna, Zala, Vela luka.
Stara Baška is a village in the south-west of Krk, and the real reason to come by boat are the coves south of it — Oprna, Zala and a few nameless ones — reached from land only by a steep path. Shallow turquoise water, pebbles and hardly anyone around at noon. About twenty minutes from Malinska around Glavotok and down the west coast; in a bora this side stays sheltered.
