Do I need a boat licence?
Yes. To drive yourself you need a valid boat licence (Croatian, or a recognised foreign one such as the ICC or the German SBF See). If you don't have one, no problem: add a skipper in the planner for €120 per day (anchor price €120) and they drive all day. Send us a photo of your licence before booking so we can check it is valid in Croatia (including VHF).
Is fuel included in the price?
No. You pay for fuel by consumption when you return — only what you actually used. The planner shows a fuel estimate for your chosen route in advance, so there are no surprises. (TODO: confirm with the owner)
What does the skipper do and how much does it cost?
The skipper drives the boat, knows every cove and where the swimming is best at which time of day. It costs €120 for the whole day (anchor price €120), whatever the route. We recommend one even to licence holders sailing this part of Kvarner for the first time.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes. Cancelling at least 48 hours before your date is free, and if we cancel because of the weather we refund the full amount or arrange a new date. Later cancellations are handled case by case — let us know as soon as you can. (TODO: confirm with the owner)
What's included in the price?
The boat from 9 am to 7 pm, safety equipment and life jackets for everyone on board, and a short briefing on the boat and the route before you set off. Fuel is paid by consumption; the skipper, tube, wakeboard and cool box are extras you switch on in the planner.
What if the weather is bad?
We watch the forecast for every booking. If the bura or jugo is blowing too hard for a safe trip, we get in touch in advance and arrange a new date. The afternoon maestral in summer is normal and not a reason to cancel. (TODO: confirm with the owner)
Do I need to leave a deposit?
Yes, as everywhere — the deposit is agreed at booking and returned in full when you bring the boat back in the condition you took it. The amount depends on the boat; we'll tell you in the confirmation. (TODO: confirm with the owner)
Can children come on board?
Of course. The boats take 6–8 people including children. If you need children's life jackets, tell us in advance how many kids and their ages so we can have them ready. For families with small kids we recommend Lopar on Rab — shallow sandy water — or the calm coves of Plavnik. (TODO: confirm with the owner)
